About Us

Our Story

Kingstons Rural Supplies began with a simple idea—support local people with the products, knowledge, and service they can rely on.

Established in 1982, the business built a strong reputation within the local community before entering a new chapter in 1999, when Dwain and Tracy Hose purchased Kingstons Rural Supplies. With a shared passion for rural life and a commitment to genuine customer service, they set out to grow the business while staying true to its local roots.

Over the years, Kingstons has grown from a small rural store into a trusted name across the Fraser Coast. While the range and reach of the business have expanded, the core values it was built on—honesty, hard work, and personal service—remain the same today.

Meet the Owners

Dwain and Tracy Hose are the proud owners of Kingstons Rural Supplies, bringing decades of hands-on experience and a deep connection to the rural community.

Since taking over the business in 1999, they have worked side by side to build Kingstons into the trusted store it is today. Their approach is simple—treat people right, offer honest advice, and provide products they stand behind.

With a strong understanding of agriculture, livestock, and rural living, Dwain and Tracy are passionate about helping their customers find the right solutions, whether it’s for the farm, the paddock, or everyday country life.

You’ll often find them in-store, working alongside their team and chatting with customers—something they believe is key to keeping the business personal and connected to the community.

Built on Family Values

As a family-owned and operated business, Kingstons Rural Supplies is built on strong values and a deep understanding of rural life.

We understand the early mornings, the long days, and the pride that comes with a job well done—because we live it too. That’s why we’re committed to providing service that goes beyond expectations.

We believe in:

  • Treating every customer like a neighbour

  • Offering honest, practical advice

  • Standing behind the products we sell

  • Supporting the local community

For us, it’s never just about making a sale—it’s about building lasting relationships.

Growing With Our Community

Since 1999, Kingstons Rural Supplies has continued to evolve alongside the needs of the community.

From livestock and farming essentials to saddlery, clothing, and country lifestyle products, the business has grown into a one-stop destination for rural supplies—without losing the personal touch that sets it apart.

Being part of the CRT network allows us to offer trusted brands and competitive pricing, while still delivering the friendly, knowledgeable service of a locally owned business.

Looking Ahead

More than two decades on, Dwain and Tracy remain committed to the same principles that guided them from the beginning—supporting their customers, their community, and the rural way of life.

At Kingstons Rural Supplies, we’re proud of our history and excited for the future, continuing to serve generations of rural families with the same dedication and care.
