Dectomax Injectable Solution 500mL
Dectomax is a ready-to-use sterile injectable formulated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle. Containing 1% w/v doramectin (10mg/mL), this clear to pale yellow solution delivers reliable broad-spectrum parasite control with a single subcutaneous injection.
Approved for use in beef cattle, including pregnant cows, newborn calves and bulls, Dectomax Injectable provides effective treatment against a wide range of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice, biting lice, cattle tick and mange mites. Its proven formulation supports effective parasite management while helping maintain herd health and productivity.
Dectomax is administered at a rate of 1mL per 50kg body weight by subcutaneous injection, delivering the recommended dose of 200mcg/kg. Injections should be given under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder using a 16 to 18-gauge needle.
This broad-spectrum treatment is effective against key parasite species including small brown stomach worm, barber’s pole worm, black scour worm, hookworm, nodule worm, lungworm, sucking lice, biting lice and mange mites.

Withholding periods:
Meat: 42 days
Milk: Do not use during lactation, or within 60 days before calving where milk or milk products are intended for human consumption or processing.
Animals must not be repeat treated within four weeks of a previous treatment.
