Co-Ral Plus Insecticide Cattle Ear Tags are for effective control of buffalo fly, including control of synthetic pyrethroid resistant fly populations on beef and dairy cattle. Co-Ral Plus is impregnated with Coumaphos and Diazinon, both anticholinesterase insecticides of the organophosphate chemical class. The insecticides are slowly released from the tag to protect cattle against buffalo fly for up to 4 months. Co-Ral Plus' dual tag system spreads the active and protects both flanks.

If buffalo flies are not managed correctly, it can cost producers up to $30 per head each year in lost production alone (1). Don't let the harmful effects of buffalo fly affect your cattle this fly season. Use Co-Ral Plus for sustained buffalo fly control to ensure the welfare of your animals and get the best out of your cattle.

Easy to apply with an Allflex Universal (red) or LazaMatic applicator
No withholding periods

Directions for Use:

Co-Ral ear tags will give effective control of buffalo flies if used on all animals (over 3 months of age). Co-Ral can be easily applied using an Allflex Universal (Red) or LazaMatic applicator. Attach two tags per animal (one tag per ear) to the back of the ear. Calves less than 3 months should not be tagged as ear damage may result.

It is recommended to treat cattle with ear tags during the peak fly season ie. when more susceptible cattle show 'fly worry', or when there are more than 200 flies per beef animal or 30 flies per dairy cow. To prolong the effectiveness of the chemical groups available for fly control, ensure that you rotate your ear tags from year to year.

Be mindful to use an alternative chemical group for fly control pre- and post- Co-Ral Plus application to an organophoshate (if further fly control is required) to delay the development of resistance.

Withholding Periods:

MEAT: 0 days
MILK: 0 days

EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): 0 days
